Okay, so for my end of year Comm Tech project, we get to do whatever we want using three technologies we learned in class (like I actually learned anything, lucky me already knew how to use them =D). So me and my friend decided to make a new TV station with our favourite TV shows. Take a guess what we picked, LOL.

So why drag my flist into my project? Well, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of scences I could use for the Fall Preview commercial we're making. We have the following shows:

- Grey's Anatomy
- Friends
- The OC
- One Tree Hill
- Veronica Mars

Any suggestions would be love, but preferably scenes from season one of these shows since we're starting a new TV station, so we'd have to kinda start from the beginning right? So if anyone has any suggestions at all, just leave a comment =D I'll love you for it =)

Oh Rob Thomas, How You Disappointed Me So

Yeah, take a guess at what this is going to address.

Okay, so that was the SERIES finale?

I’ll admit, I only watched the last hour and fifteen minutes (I had dance class) but STILL. There was no life-death situation (hello, season one= psycho Aaron Echolls; season two= psycho Cassidy Casablancas), no big OMG! moment (season one= Lily & Aaron AND Aaron killed Lily, season two= beaver caused the bus crash AND raped Veronica ?!) and no resolution to LoVe. But just like the other season finales, there are cliffhangers. But the problem with that on THIS finale is that this is the SERIES finale and that means there aren’t anymore episodes so cliffhangers are soooo not acceptable. I can understand why in TBD there were cliffhangers, but come on Rob Thomas ! You cannot do that to us. *sigh- if anyone can answer any of these questions for me I’d be a lot less upset:

1) So does Veronica still love Logan or not?

2) Are V & L going to get back together?

3) Who was behind this sex tape thingy?

4) What’s going to happen to Keith?

5) What the hell does Jake Kane have to do with all this?

Like I said, I only watched about an hour (& then I had to skip parts because the power kept going funky in my neighbourhood), and if any/all of these questions were answered in the episode, I’d be a lot happier with this episode.

Well, at least we got to see Weevil again (where’d he disappear to? I thought he was a main character), but he didn’t seem all that Weevil-y to me (even his car disassembling didn’t seem too impressive). & Angry!Logan was back, although slightly crazy and desperate seeming. Like the title said, yeah the bitch was back. Slightly too bitchy but that’s understandable considering the situation (really funny though).

Conclusion? Not too happy with Rob Thomas for this finale. Storyline? Pretty good for a normal episode, not good for a series finale. Actors= Love =) I will truly miss VM, I will miss your season one storylines, your Veronica-ness and of course LoVe.

Crazy Insane

-sigh- yeah, my life is running just splendidly (except for the fact that i'm already in summer mode & still have a month and a half of school left) but this whole tv thing is really making me mad.

Alright, where to start?

Oh, okay. The Black Donnellys.
Uh, HOW THE HELL CAN YOU LEAVE US ON A CLIFFHANGER LIKE THAT ?!
Seriously..there was no closure. No closure at all. & this is suppose to be the series finale? Excuse me, but that was a horrible series finale. Season finale? Fantastic. Series? I think not. Not only are the previous questions unanswered, but NEW questions that just came about on the episode are now unanswered.
& what's this I hear about TBD being fought over by HBO & TNT? Please tell me that's true. & apparently it's been picked up by HDnet? Mhm, don't know if that's true either. I really would like to see this show have many more seasons (even though I'd probably still have to download them all).

Heroes
So a couple days ago, I woke up to my radio alarm clock saying something about a Hereos spinoff American Idol thing? Erg, what? That's just weird.. & weird.

Gilmore Girls
So I have accepted that the series has ended, but I have to say I didn't like their series finale either. It was a nothing episode to me. It didn't provoke any sort of emotion out of me and the whole Logan thing still bothers me. They should have at least had him on the show one last time. But, I'll admit, the Luke/Lorelai thing made me somewhat happy.

Veronica Mars
Apparently VM hasn't been renewed for another season. I know, everyone kind of expected it, but I still love the show (even though it's gone all weird and whatever). Also, I know a big chunk of flist is going to hate this, but I'm starting to warm up to the whole Piz/Veronica thing. I just wish they started their relationship earlier in the season instead of in the last couple episodes. It would have been really nice to see them grow as a couple (that also goes for Parker/Logan). Not that I'm saying I don't love LoVe, but Piz/Veronica isn't so bad anymore. How many episodes of VM do we have left anyways?

Grey's Anatomy
George/Izzie? Bad. I hate this couple with a passion. They're suppose to be friends nothing more.& Derek/Meredith isn't as happy as it was before, which is bothering me, but not even one eighth as George/Izzie is bothering me. I've been re-watching Grey's on DVD, season one? Lovely. Season two? Lovely up until the point where Meredith sleeps with George. That is when things started going downhill for me on Grey's. Me? I like it when it's Meredith/Derek. Alex/Izzie. George crushing on people and not actually sleeping with them. Yes I realize that Mer/Der weren't actually together in season two, but they must as well have been. The only thing I like about season three is Addison..and possibly Sloane. (what I would give to see those two together) I've never really like Cristina/Burke's relationship, M/D I was happy with until they started being weird, I/G do not get me started on that again.

What have I concluded?
1) I really hate NBC at the moment (except for the fact they renewed FNL, the one thing I'm happy about right now (I already expected Heroes to be renewed, so there's no need to celebrate))
2) Grey's Anatomy needs to start returning to its roots
3) I watch too much television for my own good (and half of it isn't even ON my tv, it's on my laptop) and need to find something better to do with my life.

Although, I did get a job as a camp counsellor for the summer..but that doesn't start until July.

A Nice Little Compact Rant About Those TV Shows (Again)

Let's put this behind a cut just because I don't know how long this is going to be.

Starting in order of the week...

Heroes
So I basically talked about this already, but to just restate it: I freaking loved this episode. I loved the whole in the future thing. I loved the whole what could happen thing. I loved the whole Peter Petrelli/Sylar fight. Heck, I even loved Claire's brown hair =) Nothing to complain about

The Black Donnellys
Okay, so, why was Jimmy just sitting there trying to decide what to do with the body? I have to admit, this episode wasn't the greatest. To me, TBD is kinda going downhill. It was crazy good in the beginning, but now, I'll still watch, but it isn't on the top of my priority list. But I will say that the way Bobby Donnelly died absoluetly sucks.

Veronica Mars
Four words: PIZ AND VERONICA HOOKUP ?!?!?!?! UHM, WHAT ? & i since when were logan and parker so...couple-y...i didn't know they were that serious =/ It feels like we missed a big chunk of something in that relationship. But Piz & Veronica? Welllllll...I'm not entirely mad, the way it panned out wasn't too bad..(okay, my judgement MAY be clouded at the moment due to the fact I was watching the Grey's spinoff that had Chris Lowell in it..his character is adorable in it) piz going all in..that's so cutee =) but still...I want LoVe back ! I want season one LoVe back =) or season two.. just not the weird whatever it was in season three. And the mysteries of Veronica Mars? Well, I gave up on those a while ago.

One Tree Hill
Not as scary as I thought it would be =) I totally expected a thriller, but meh..it was still pretty good. I was pretty freaked when Brooke went down the stairs, but overall, it was a pretty good episode. Nathan and Haley are soooo adorable =) For once, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Rachel...but then she went and took Mouth away. -__-"

Grey's Anatomy
OOKAYY, so this was a two hour long episode with a combined Private Practice thinger to it. Well, the Grey's moments just weren't cutting it today..it seemed all..ick. I found that I wanted to watch Private Practice more than I did Grey's Anatomy. I'm getting mad at the Cristina/Burke thing..he's being REALLY pushy and it's really bothering me. I'm getting mad at the George/Izzie thing because THEY AREN'T SUPPOSE TO BE TOGETHER. it's so WEIRD. They're suppose to be best friends, nothing more. & then I have no clue what is going on with Meredith/Derek..they're acting non-coupley..which is what I really hate. And last, but not least, Meredith looses another mother and her father..again. Maybe in a full Grey's episode, I would have been upset with Mer loosing another mom & her dad, but not today when it was all jam packed and switching and icky.
But Private Practice is a pretty good show. I think I'm going to watch it =) The cast is pretty amazing, I pretty much knew them all. Especially the Alias reunion! OHMY, Sark & Francie =D Although, David Anders didn't have an English accent, it was still David Anders xD AND CHRIS LOWELL ! ohmy, i'll admit, i like him better in veronica mars, but in private practice, he's not too bad either. Kinda the same really =P except his name is dell. & i keep calling him piz. GASP ! does this mean he's not returning on veronica mars? because i totally love him as piz. piz is awesome =) ANYWHOO..the relationship between addison and pete would be interesting..same with the talking elevator =) so i think i'm going to watch.
the one thing that bothered me SOO much about this two hour thing though was the countless commercials. probably about 40 minutes worth since each show by itself would be around 40 minutes..added together about 80 minutes..leaving 40 minutes of commercials -__-"

OHKAY, so this week is going to ROCK.

- 3 day school week (I stayed home sick today, so it’s a three day school week for me since Friday is a PA Day)

- VM is back

- OTH is back

- Heroes was FREAKING FANTASTIC tonight

- Dance competitions are over & done

- All the projects due this week are super easy

Has anyone seen the new episode stills for the upcoming VM episodes? PIZ & VERONICA ?!!??!?!?!?!?! What is going ON? (I know, V & L broke up, there is a possibility of Piz & Veronica blahblahblah)

The only thing that makes me remotely happy is the fact that Logan seems to have stopped their almost kiss over there =)

AND THEN THERE’S ONE TREE HILL

Uhm, so I knew that it would be somewhat intense..but when I saw the preview I was excited all over again for it. Peyton tied to a chair with a psychotic “Derek”? Yeah, I’m cheering (even though I don’t want Peyton killed off the show, that’d suck. I’m just happy at the OTH drama-rama I get this week).

& on top of all that to-be-seen TV, tonite’s Heroes was KILLER. Words cannot describe how crazy I thought Heroes was today. SLKDJFLIEJLKD ! Sylar + Peter fight? Claire not being dead, but then getting killed after? Hiro dying? Ohhhmyyy, I was screaming at the TV sooo much tonight, I lost my voice all over again. One thing though, what is with the scar on Peter’s face?

And then we have Grey’s on Thursday..which is becoming rather disappointing for me with the whole George/Izzie thing..they are totally NOT suppose to be a couply couple. They’re suppose to be friends, nothing more..not..together..

But I’m still going to watch because the show is just too addicting.

TV wise, I’m happy. My shows are FINALLY back (which means I can actually start watching TV on the actual television again instead of on my laptop). During this super long hiatus, I did become somewhat attached to other shows too, but The Black Donnellys was cancelled by the 6^th episode & Friday Night Lights is already done its season.

& I know I haven’t actually made any graphic-y things lately, but I’m in the process of freeing up some more room on my computer. Which means hours and hours of screencap uploading on photobucket (yeah, I know I can zip the pictures & upload them somewhere, but I hate downloading them again and unzipping and searching, so the hours of uploading are kinda worth it for me). When I’m done with all this uploading, I will have a bunch of goodies for everyone (including a batch of FNL icons I started but haven’t gotten a chance to finish yet, a batch of TBD icons I planned to start but haven’t yet & a batch from some random awards thingy I found on imdb.com)

So that is my update after my lack of updatingness =)

okay, so I have pretty much ran out of room on my laptop =) I think I need to get rid of a lot of screencaps and stuff, but I kind of don't want to delete them all..
Like, I WANT to get rid of the screencaps, but I just might need them again later and I really don't want to redownload them (my internet is a pain in the bum). So I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how to set up a thing to upload to the internet and keep it all organized, something like vm-caps.com, only with a bunch of screencaps from different shows.
So, if anyone wants to help explain how I'm suppose to get something like that set up, I'll be very very thankful =)

On another note, I'm going to start tagging just about everything in my journal. That means I'm going back to the beginning and tagging every TV show and movie and such. It's going to be VERY fun =/ At least I'll be more organized =D
